The room was surprisingly quiet and had a fridge, which was a nice touch. the view was amazing, definitely a bonus! This place is nestled in a beautiful area, adding to its charm. 🌄

The queen room is themed with TV with a large bathroom, 2 double beds, for instance.

We chose to stay at Te Anau Hotel & Villas because of visiting Milford sounds, a must do if time allows. Also visit the cinema and view the astounding milford sound video,while enjoying a hot toddy drink, movie only takes half an hour, well worth it. I was disappointed in the motel as the room we apparently chose was a viilla appartment , which is at the back of the motel. The room was comfortable , but needs maintance, especially the bathroom . I was disappointed the room was not part of the motel.

Did not like the fact that when booking this premises I would have preferred to stay at the motel. We would not be staying at the Motel.

Proximity to city center was excellent.

You could tell that the hotel was designed decades ago. The furniture has been updated but the facility is still very old fashioned.

The staff was thoughtful and very hospitable. the location was particularly good, central to everything on offer in the area. We had goodies and coffee at Bailiez Cafe, it was located so close to the venue.

Separate lounge in villa. excellent food, special coffee's were excellent! location was great.

had to have the heater on all night because of draft under door, easily fixed with some door stops or better insulation. plus there was no extractor fan in bathroom and only a window which opened and again made the room freezing. plus everywhere we have stayed that say they don't wash the towels if they are left up have always washed them this place no exception. if your going to say that your looking after the environment then you should actually do it!?

overall excellent stay for one night. clean place with excellent friendly staff and pleasant view out on the lake. newly renovated rooms and high quality breakfast available. great location right on lakeside. based really close to restaurants, shops, tour pick up and the pub as well as the shores of te anau.

I enjoyed dining at a lovely restaurant with friendly staff, featuring a beautifully presented meal and a stunning view of the lake, alongside a refreshing outdoor bar and a delightful pool.

The spa bath was awesome. Got more than what we expected. Full kitchen with microwave was handy too.

The hotel felt shabby and for the same price we stayed at much nicer places in bigger towns.

The rooms at the hotel were bright and spotless, with comfortable beds. the location is stunning, only a 10-15 minute walk from a national park. - There is an awesome restaurant just a short walk away from the venue.

Convenient location, nice room, free WiFi in lobby

Location was excellent. Easy walk to downtown area with restaurants. We had a cottage and very much enjoyed the extra space after a couple of nights at some close quarters during our trip. Staff was warm and helpful.

It would have been nice to have had wifi available in the rooms. Wifi was available in the dining room, bar area and lobby area.
